Our star reporter Bonzai Joe interviewed the drivers about the last track. Hope he`ll continue his great work. Here you are:
Roy Wiegerinck about the competition of May 2002:
What did you think of your own result and effort this month?
I'm happy with my first place :), especially when the competition was hard !
What do you think of the overall performance this year, and what is your goal?
I'm satified with my overall permormence and my goal is to win Zak's comp ;)
How do you consider this month's winners (Roy, Ben, Bonzai and Alan) and their replays?
I think Ben Snel did very well this month ! He's also a pro, he's raced many competition tracks in his career :)! His beginning is very fast.... about Bonzai Joe; Though his exams and time
(motivation;)) problems, he achieved a very good result !! He's a very good driver who improved himself a lot in the last year !! About me; Slow beginning, I spend many time on the loop jump, and afterwards I had no time to improve my beginning :) Alan Rotoi; What a great trick at the end !!! and a very good result. We will definetly see more of him year !
Anything else you want to add?
GREAT RACE !!! hopefully more spectacular racing next month ! and what a cool and crazy track! Grats to the designer :)
Ben Snel about the competition of May 2002:
How do you consider your own performance and result in May?
Very happy to be 2nd (Roy is better and he deserves it 'cos he comes up with most of the solutions we exchange) and to be under 1:20. Until the last jump you were better than me bonzai! , you could have been under 1:19 too! I still have to write my analysis.
What do you think of the overall standings, and most importantly, what is your own goal?
I dont know them, i honestly never look at them, I guess I'm in the top 5 (i SHOULD be!;o) )and Roy is 1st?
What did you think of this month's winners (Roy, Ben, Bonzai and Alan) and their replays?
i found roys jump at 37 sec fabulous, and he said this WASNT an accident!! he said he knew it had to be possible (thats why he's better than me) and put a sickening amount of time in it. Alan last jump was also brilliant!
I'm just a very conscious driver, i dont let anything happen coincidentally, everything has to be as perfect as possible. And I have the best corners, I think. I'm bad at finding shortcuts. I dont think like that. Thats why i like the ISA competition.
Anything else you want to add?
I'm under the strong impression that if I had a better computer, I'd be a better driver
when i started to play Stunts on my present one, I suddenly was seconds faster than on my previous one
-I see replays where drivers drive worse "lines" than me and STILL are faster
Bonzai Joe about the competition of May 2002:
How do you consider your own performance and result in May?
Well generally I'm satisfied with the third place, because I was outclassed, and during the month, I was afraid I wouldn't even make the top 5. But it's sad to see that I lost it all in the ending. I have already driven 1.19.55. I keep telling others not to cut any slack, but will I ever learn it myself? :)
What do you think of the overall standings, and most importantly, what is your own goal?
So far I have done better than I thought I would. My goal is to keep my overall second place. I expect to fight for it with Ben Snel, Argammon (maybe?) and Bismarck, so it's not going to be easy.
What did you think of this month's winners (Roy, Ben, Bonzai and Alan) and their replays?
I think the first and the last were very impressive. Roy's unbelievable trick after the loop (I wonder how he survived) and Alan's corkscrew trick. Generally Alan's getting a good time without using all the shortcuts that Ben, Roy and I used.
Anything else you want to add?
The Jaguar sucks :)
Zak McKracken about the competition of May 2002:
How do you consider your own performance and result in May?
Well, I`ve made a lot of updates, but I`ve raced more than as usual - I liked the track. I didn`t use those tricks that Roy and the others used to make, because I`d have never found those myself, so I was satisfied with my 1:31.40, with some hours' excercise I could have made it under 1:30.
What do you think of the overall standings, and most importantly, what is your own goal?
Keep on regular updating, and provide some great new features and games for you, when my ADSL is ready. Also I want to finish in the top6 at the ISA, and keep my good place on the worldranklist.
What did you think of this month's winners (Roy, Ben, Bonzai and Alan) and their replays?
Crazy. :) Alan has a great talent, I hope he`ll stay and race with us. (I wonder where Argammon is...), he reminds me of Bismarck, when I got his first replays I thought he`s cheating, a newbie can`t make such great times. Well, they can. :) Roy gave his usual form, Ben was really great, Bonzai too. I`m really curious about the final results of this year -there can be a great battle for the awards.
Anything else you want to add?
I guess I`ll go and sleep.
CTG about the competition of May 2002:
How do you consider your own performance and result in May?
I'm not very satisfied with my result in this month. One of the reasons is my bad luck. I use my roommates PC when I play Stunts, and last week I found a password on it. I called him and he said something was wrong in the computer, and he didn't want anybody to make a major error in his PC. So I've lost my best replay, which was saved at the beginning of the loop (my time was about 39.7-39.8 secs there). I think I could beat Usrin's time with it, but I'm not lucky enough...
What do you think of the overall standings, and most importantly, what is your own goal?
My dissatisfaction has reference to my year also. I had only two races in this year, and I thought, I would be better. Unfortunately I'm not a very talented trick-finder, because I played this game without tricks since I met Stunts in 1993. And I'm unable to use manual transmission (I've already mentioned that...), so I don't have a chance to be a top driver. My goal is to get 2-5 points for every races, and I would like to be the best Hungarian Stunts-driver inside of a year (beat Akoss and Usrin, yes!!! :) ).
What did you think of this month's winners (Roy, Ben, Bonzai and Alan) and their replays?
I haven't seen the replays of the month, but I can't believe the winning time... :) Worthy of note Alan's result! He was the best choice when I looked for a teammate. He deserves our honourable mention. But if I have a look at the scoreboard of May, I'm not very surprised. Roy is squarely the best driver in Zak's competition. He reminds me on somebody in F1 called Michael Schumacher. The only difference is that we have the same car...
Anything else you want to add?
The last question is quite difficult for me. What shall I say? I'm not very happy to say that I won't have a serious race in the next months. Perharps I send one or two listfillers but I won't have enough time to drive. Have a good race in the summer! Best regards

Mingva about the competition of May 2002:
How do you consider your own performance and result in May?
I'm satisfied with my result because I just in May began to play Stunts.
What do you think of the overall standings, and most importantly, what is your own goal?
For now my goal is honourably represent native country :)
What did you think of this month's winners (Roy, Ben, Bonzai and Alan) and their replays?
I learned a little from these replays. It seems that month's winners are very good Stunts players.
Anything else you want to add?
At this moment nothing important.
Juank23 about the competition of May 2002:
How do you consider your own performance and result in May?
My result wasn't enough to catch a point, I started racing after two months out so i have less time, but i enjoyed it.
What do you think of the overall standings, and most importantly, what is your own goal?
When replay handling dies the history will be very different for me
